ABOUT FOUNDATIONS
Foundations is the first structured stage of the Good Girl Deprogramming ecosystem. This course is not about fixing yourself, becoming more confident, or pushing for change. It is about understanding, safety, and capacity. Across six sessions, we gently make sense of the patterns you’ve learned – without judgement, urgency, or pressure to perform growth. This course is focused on understanding and gentle self-inquiry, not therapy or emotional processing.
WHO FOUNDATIONS IS FOR
Foundations may be right for you if: * You recognise patterns of people-pleasing, over-responsibility, perfectionism, or self-silencing * You are tired of analysing yourself or trying to “do it better” * You want language for your experiences without being pathologised * You are curious about self-trust, boundaries, and desire, but want to move slowly * You value clarity, pacing, and psychological safety You do not need to be ready to change your life. You do not need to be certain what comes next.
WHAT FOUNDATIONS IS (AND ISN’T)
Foundations is: * Structured and paced * Explanatory and reflective * Calm, grounded, and consent-led * Designed to reduce self-attack and shame Foundations is not: * A confidence or assertiveness course * A therapeutic container * A space for emotional processing or trauma work * A high-intensity or transformational programme This is about orientation and safety, not acceleration.
1. The Conditioning Map
Understanding how Good Girl Conditioning forms and why you were never broken.
2. Gentle Awareness
Learning to notice thoughts, emotions, and behaviours without judgement, fixing, or self-attack.
3. Safety in Connection
Making sense of why approval feels like safety, and how relational fear is learned rather than personal.
4. Listening to Your Limits
Reading energy, capacity, and exhaustion as information rather than failure.
5. Letting Desire Speak
Allowing desire to exist without obligation, urgency, or justification.
6. Trusting the Pace
Releasing urgency and learning to trust slow, non-linear change.

ABOUT MICHELLE
Michelle Minnikin is an organisational psychologist, coach, and author of Good Girl Deprogramming. Her work focuses on helping women understand the psychological, cultural, and systemic roots of self-doubt, people-pleasing, and invisible burnout – without pathologising or individualising what is often structural. She helps women make sense of learned patterns without judgement, and decide what feels right for them. Michelle is known for clear pattern-naming, calm delivery, and deep respect for consent, pacing, and self-trust.
HOW FOUNDATIONS FITS INTO THE WIDER WORK
Foundations is a complete, standalone course. It can be taken on its own, or as part of the wider Good Girl Deprogramming ecosystem. If you choose to continue, Foundations provides a gentle starting point before the 7 Keys or the long-term Rise Above container. There is no obligation to continue.
